What documents will I need to Register for the FAA US Agent for Service (USAS) Annual Plan?
To ensure a smooth registration process for your FAA U.S. Address, please prepare the following documents and information based on your situation.
We support:
- Current FAA Certificate (License) Holders (Part 61, 63, 65, 67 or 107)
- Applicants converting from a Foreign License (e.g., UK CAA PPL, EASA PPL, Australian PPL, etc.)
- Those just starting their FAA journey with no aviation credentials yet
- N-registered Aircraft Owners
Choose One:
I am an FAA Certificate/License Holder (Pilot, Mechanic, Instructor, Drone Pilot, etc.)
Required uploads:
- Your FAA Certificate or Foreign Equivalent (required if issued — front side only)
- Your FAA Medical Certificate or Foreign Equivalent (required if issued — expired is OK)
- Government-Issued Photo ID (passport, driver’s license or national ID — expired OK)
If you do not have a pilot certificate/license or medical yet (FAA or Foreign Equivalent): Simply upload your government-issued Photo ID.
Upload instructions:
- The first “Choose Files” upload field is required.
- The other two upload fields are optional.
- You can select multiple files at once in one field (all files must be in the same format for each field).
- Maximum 6 files per upload field.
- Keep each file under 10 MB (or less for faster processing).
- Supported file formats: PDF, JPEG or direct camera photos.
Information Needed for Registration / Checkout and the USAS.FAA.Gov Portal
Gather this information before you begin. Some fields will be entered during registration/checkout; others can be added/updated in our proprietary secure Dashboard after checkout.
- Full legal name (as it appears on your credential)
- Email address
- Phone number (with country code)
- Billing / Shipping / Physical address (these can all be the same)
- Date of Birth
- FAA Tracking Number (FTN) → Look up or create your FTN here: IACRA or Look up your FTN on MedXPress
Tip: Have your FTN ready — it speeds up your registration and USAS designation process significantly.
I am an N-Registered (FAA) Aircraft Owner
Required uploads:
- Your FAA Certificate or Foreign Equivalent (if issued — front side only)
- Your FAA Medical Certificate or Foreign Equivalent (if issued — expired is OK)
- Government-Issued Photo ID (passport, driver’s license or national ID — expired OK)
- Aircraft Registration Certificate and/or Letter of Authorization (LOA)
If you do not have a pilot certificate/license or medical: Simply upload your government-issued Photo ID and your Aircraft Registration Certificate or LOA.

Note: Aircraft registered owners do not need an FAA Tracking Number (FTN) to log in to USAS

What Happens After Registration and Checkout?
- You’ll receive instant access to your secure US Aviation Agency Dashboard.
- While logged in, complete any remaining profile fields.
- In your Dashboard you’ll find:
- Self-service instructions for the official USAS.FAA.Gov portal
- Our step-by-step visual guide for designating US Aviation Agency as your US Agent for Service (USAS)
- We’re here to help with any technical issues (firewall blocks, login problems, etc.).
- You’ll be notified by email when the FAA processes your USAS designation. The confirmation will also appear in your Dashboard and always be available for future reference.
